AERON

The 4,000 m2 land with olive, pine and other kinds of trees is located on the east side of Skiathos Bay, on a headland across from the island’s main town.

A prime location, not only because of the exceptional view of the open sea and the harbour, but also because of its proximity to all the amenities essential for daily life. The town centre, with its wide variety of shops, the harbour, the airport, large supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and more, are all no more than 2.5–3 km away:  a 5-minute drive.

As for the house itself, AERON is a home whose qualities are best appreciated when you walk through it. It is designed in a way that the view of the sea becomes an integral part of daily life, serving as a natural extension of all the main rooms. The large terraces, in turn, serve as the real extension of the house, and their layout connects the individual rooms in a natural way.

The house exudes an atmosphere of privacy without creating a sense of isolation. You can enjoy the spacious, open areas without feeling exposed. The fact that it was designed by the architect—who was to live there himself with his family—is particularly evident in details that you only come to appreciate once you live in a house: the appropriate proportions of the individual spaces, and the many utility and storage rooms in the basement, so that everything has its place.

The connection to the sea goes beyond just the beautiful view. A walking trail begins right on the property and leads, after about 165 meters, to a small, quiet sandy beach that is inaccessible by car or any other vehicle. Far from the hustle and bustle found at most beaches on Skiathos, you can enjoy a swim there. The footpath leading to this beach is known to only a few people.
