What Cookies Are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use limited browser storage for essential functionality. We do not use any advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies, and our own visitor statistics are cookieless (see §3).
What We Use
Each item below is strictly necessary for a feature you use, so none requires consent:
- Property unlock (
sh_unlock_…) — keeps a private/selective property unlocked in your browser after you enter a valid access token. Lasts 7 days. - Language preference (
sh_language) — remembers the language you choose with the GR/EN switch. Lasts one year. - Off-market form memory — remembers a value you typed in the off-market form during your visit (browser
sessionStorage). Cleared when the tab closes. - WordPress cookies — only set if you log in to the website's admin area.
Our Statistics Are Cookieless
To understand interest in our properties we measure page views and time on page — without storing anything on your device. Each request is counted using a temporary key calculated on our server from your IP address and browser, combined with a secret value that changes every day, so the key cannot recognise you from one day to the next, and your IP address is never stored in raw form.
Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, this does not require cookie consent under Law 3471/2006. The legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site; you may object at any time (see Privacy Policy).
How to Control Cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop the unlock / private-access feature from working.
Changes & Contact
We may update this policy; the version published on this page is always the one in force. Questions: info@skiathoshomes.com.
